Good morning, this is Tools of AI- the newsletter that teaches you how you can use AI to improve your life today.
A warm thank you to the 47 subscribers to this newsletters. I greatly appreciate you!
Now- onto the good stuff:
For those learning a new language, it is a generally accepted fact that immersing themselves in the culture and talking with locals, living in the area is the best way to learn FAST. AI now allows you to simulate the experience of talking to a fluent speaker of the language, and fast forward your learning. I am going to be talking about one such tool in this post.
*Drumrolls*
The AI tool I’m talking about is called Nashi.Ai
It’s still in beta so you have unlimited access as long as you sign up and give them your email. They offer 7 languages right now- English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese and Spanish. If you speak any of these 7 languages, and want to learn any of the other 6, you absolutely should start using the app TODAY.
A lot of people I know use Duolingo to START learning a new language. However, if you map out the entire customer journey from a novice to a fluent speaker- Duolingo leaves you somewhere at an intermediate level- where you understand a lot of the written words and simple sentences- but get easily confused when listening to a native speaker or cannot comprehend, say a song in the language.
That’s where I see these AI language assistants coming in to help you level up.
In fact, I’d be surprised if Duolingo doesn’t release a version of this within their app or acquires one of these AI companies to integrate their functionality.
The Nashi.AI site itself was quite simple to use. I selected French as my learning goal and this is how my conversation basically went
Fun right?
If you’re learning a new language, or know someone who is – I’d encourage you to check it out today and share this newsletter with them.
Oh – and also, if you like learning more about entrepreneurship and startups- I have a YouTube podcast called Dot On Target that you should subscribe to. I release a new episode out every Saturday (that’s today!).
Thank you for reading- until next week!
